Causes and Solutions for Weak Actuator Extension and Oil Leakage in Pipe Bending Machines

Currently, the main types of CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines on the market include fully automatic CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines, semi-automatic CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines, and manual CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines. Fully automatic CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines are suitable for high-volume production projects, semi-automatic CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines are suitable for projects with a fixed total output, and the biggest advantage of manual CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines is their portability, making them very convenient for on-site operations. During long-term use, CNC hydraulic pipe bending machines inevitably experience malfunctions. The following are troubleshooting methods for two common malfunctions:

Malfunction 1: Weak actuator extension, unable to bend pipes.

First, check if the steel ball inside the CNC hydraulic pipe bending machine switch has fallen out. Second, tighten the CNC hydraulic pipe bending machine switch clockwise. If the problem persists, check if the hydraulic oil tank is full and fill it completely. Alternatively, loosen the bolt on the oil filler port. Replace the YX-shaped polyurethane seal ring inside the plunger pump of the CNC hydraulic pipe bending machine to purge air from the oil tank. This should resolve the problem.

Fault Two: Oil Leakage in the CNC Hydraulic Pipe Bending Machine

If the oil leakage is at the piston rod of the large or small pump, the primary cause is a damaged seal ring. Therefore, when encountering this type of fault, first check if the seal ring of the CNC hydraulic pipe bending machine is damaged. If damaged, replace the seal. If the oil leakage is at the switch, the primary cause is a loose pressure ring inside the switch. In this case, remove the limit screw and the switch, and tighten the pressure ring. If the oil leakage is at the top of the push rod of the CNC hydraulic pipe bending machine, the primary cause is a damaged seal ring at the top of the piston rod. The seal ring needs to be replaced.
