What are the things to know before using a profile bending machine?

A profile bending machine can complete the pre-bending, rolling, and straightening processes of profiles in one feeding operation. It features an advanced structure, comprehensive functions, and can be placed vertically or horizontally depending on the user's needs. The profile bending machine has an arc-shaped downward adjustable structure, with a fixed upper roller shaft and two lower roller shafts moving in an arc relative to the upper roller shaft around a central axis. Its main function is to pre-bend the ends of the profile and deform it. Simultaneously, the two lower roller shafts also serve as the main drive shafts, driven by hydraulic motors, to roll the deformed profile into shape.

After the profile bending machine is installed, the following points should be understood before its official use:

1. Check that the protective devices on the profile bending machine are intact. If they are not properly installed, do not start the machine. The bending machine should have good grounding and electrical insulation, and the voltage should be stable.

2. Check the lubrication points of the profile bending machine. If there is insufficient or no oil, add enough oil. Then turn on the power switch and hydraulic switch of the profile bending machine, and then switch the manual/automatic switch to automatic.

3. During the no-load test run, check whether the machine operates normally and whether the electrical switches are sensitive and functional. Only after everything is normal can work begin.

4. After the first bending operation of the profile bending machine is completed, the operator should use their left or right hand to remove the bent pipe and then use their foot to step on the start switch to return the machine to its original position.

5. If the mold malfunctions while operating the profile bending machine, production should be stopped immediately. Notify the electromechanical manager or technician. Production can only resume after the fault has been resolved. Turn off the power after work is completed.

Before using the profile bending machine each day, pay close attention to several vulnerable areas such as the mandrel, stop blocks, turntable, and protective cover. After confirming that everything is in good working order, run the machine no-load to warm it up before starting operation. When using a profile bending machine, it is strictly forbidden to process steel bars exceeding the machine's specified diameter, quantity, or operating speed.
