Common Problems in the Operation of Pipe Bending Machines

Like any machine, pipe bending machines encounter various problems during operation. For example, during pipe bending processes, issues such as springback at the bend, wrinkling, bulging, and drag marks may occur. Today, we'll discuss common problems in operating a fully automatic pipe bending machine. During actual operation, we must pay attention to the following:

1. When starting the fully automatic machine, ensure that your body does not enter the area swept by the rotating arm. When the CNC lathe is working, all personnel are prohibited from entering the area swept by the rotating arm and the pipe. The CNC lathe's hydraulic transmission system uses YA-N32 general-purpose gear oil, which should be replaced several times a year under normal circumstances, and the oil filter must be cleaned at the same time.

2. When adjusting the die, the adjuster should press the button to make the adjustment. Never allow one person to adjust the die on the CNC lathe while others operate from the control box. The mandrel must be removed when adjusting the CNC lathe or when running it idle. The hydraulic transmission system also requires attention to the working pressure during operation.

3. It is strictly forbidden to push the machine at a speed exceeding the angular velocity of the rotating edge of the mold in manual operation. After a period of use, the tension of the transmission chain should be checked to ensure that the tension of the upper, lower, and left/right transmission chains is the same.

4. In fully automatic operation, during the mandrel bending mode, before the bending arm returns, the operator must ensure that the mandrel head is inside the pipe, or that there is no obstruction when the bending arm returns, to prevent the mandrel head or mandrel from being bent or broken by the sheet metal.
